New England Colonists, 1600-1700 Clark-Clarke

This is the ONLY post that encompasses just one single surname.

Arthur settled at Hampton, N.H. pre-1640, when he became a freeman at Salem, Mass.. He then went to Boston in 1643.
Benjamin was a freeman at Medfield, Mass. in 1682.
Carew was born at Bedfordshire, England in 1603 before coming to Newport, R.I. in 1638. He left no issue.
Christopher was a mariner at Boston in 1646.
Daniel is on record at Ipswich, Mass. in 1634. He is then found at Topsfield, Mass. by 1661.
Daniel, son of Joseph, was born at England in 1622 and settled with his Uncle Ephraim Hunt at Windsor, Conn. in 1639.
Edmund is at Gloucester, Mass. by 1650.

Edward was a carpenter at Haverhill, Mass. in 1646, then at Kennebunk, Maine in 1652; later at Wells, Maine.
Ephraim was a freeman at Medfield, Mass. in 1673.
George was a carpenter and a builder who came from Surrey or Kent, England in 1637. He settled at Milford, Conn. in 1639.
George was a husbandman at Milford, Conn. in 1639.
Henry is found at Windsor, Conn. in 1640 before removing to Hadley, Mass.
Hugh was born in England in 1613. He was at Watertown, Mass. in 1640; removed to Roxbury, Mass. in 1657.
James was one of the first settlers in New Haven, Conn. in 1637. He went to Stratford, Conn. pre-1669.
James was at Boston pre-1646.
Jeremiah, born in England, is found at Portsmouth, R.I. in 1640.
John is a freeman found at Cambridge, Mass. in 1632. He then removed to Hartford, Conn. in 1636, then to Farmington, Conn. in 1645 and finally to Saybrook, Conn..
John was born in 1612 at England and came from Ipswich, Suffolk, England in 1634 to New England, He is first found at New Haven, Conn. in 1639 and later went to N.H..
 
 
 
John was an author and physician, the son of Thomas of Bedfordshire and brother of Carew, and came to Boston in 1637. He removed the next year to Newport, R.I. and left no issue.
John was a physician and freeman at Newbury, Mass. in 1639 before going to Boston in 1649.
John was married at Springfield, Mass. in 1647.
John was at Saybrook, Conn in 1640, having come from Wethersfield, Conn.and Milford, Conn..
John was a carpenter at New London, Conn. before going to Norwich, Conn. in 1656.
Jonas was a shipmaster who was born in England in 1619/20. He is found at Cambridge, Mass. in 1642.
Joseph is at Cambridge as a freeman in 1635,later going to Windsor, Conn..
Joseph was born at Suffolk, England and settled at Dorchester pre-1650. He is also found at Dedham, Mass. where he is a freeman in 1653.
Joseph was the youngest brother of Dr. John and came to N.E. in 1637. He located at Boston in 1638 before removing to Newport, R.I..
Malachi is found at Ipswich, Mass. in 1648.
Matthew was a mariner at Boston in 1656 and went to Marblehead by 1661.
Nathaniel was born in England in 1638 before going to Newbury in 1668.

Nicholas arrived at Boston in 1632 and went to Hartford, Conn. in 1635. Percy, or Percival, was a freeman at Boston in 1675.
Richard was an early settler at Rowley, Mass. in 1642.
Robert is found at Lynn, Mass. around the year 1636 and then at Sandwich, Mass. later.
Robert is a freeman found at Stratford, Conn. in 1669.
Samuel was at Wethersfield, then Stamford and Milford, Conn. by 1669, before removing to Hempstead, L.I..
Thaddeus is married at Falmouth, Maine by 1663.
Thomas was a carpenter and born in England in 1599. He is first found at Plymouth in 1623 and at Harwich, Mass. by 1670.
Thomas was the elder brother of Dr. John and is found at Newport, R.I. in 1638.
Thomas was a merchant at Dorchester, Mass. in 1636 and at Boston in 1653.
Thomas is a freeman and blacksmith at Boston in 1641.
Thomas is found to be living at Lynn, Mass. in 1640 before removing to Reading, Mass. pre-1693, when he died there.
Thomas was a merchant at Dorchester pre-1644.
Tristram, or Thurston, was born at England in 1594 and came from Ipswich, Suffolk, England to Plymouth in 1634.
William is a freeman at Ipswich in 1630.

Lieut. William was born at Plymouth, Dorsetshire, England in 1609. He came to new England in 1630 and settled at Dorchester sometime previous to 1635. He then went to Northampton, Mass. in 1659.
William was a freeman at Salem in 1630, where he kept a hotel in 1634.
William was a servant to John Crow and is found at Hartford, Conn. in 1639. He is one of the first settlers of Haddam, Conn. in 1662.
William died at Yarmouth, Mass. in 1668.
William is at Boston in 1659.
William was a resident of Boston in 1661.
William was married at Saybrook in 1678.
