John settled at Watertown, Mass. and married in 1644 at same.


Thomas was living in Providence, R.I. in 1645.

John was at Providence, R.I. in 1646.
Stephen was an inhabitant of Stamford, Conn. in 1670.



Humphrey owned an Inn in New London, Conn. in 1651.
Joseph was married at Guilford, Conn. in 1670.
Thomas was of Scituate, Mass. in 1643.



Thomas was at Dover, N.H. in 1650 before removing to R.I. after. He left no male issue.



George was at Newport, R.I., in 1639.
John was a shoemaker at Boston in 1674.


Cleaveland or Cleveland

Moses was born in 1624 at Ipswich, Suffolk, England and came to N.E. as a youth in 1635. He was admitted as a freeman at Woburn, Mass. in 1643.
Samuel, brother of the preceding, was a Chelmsford, Mass. pre-1681 and then at Canterbury, Conn. by 1693.


Cleaves or Cleves

George was born at Plymouth, Devonshire, England in 1576 and came to Scarborough, Maine in 1630. He went to Falmouth, Maine two years later.
William was married at Roxbury, Mass. in 1659.
William was at Beverly, Mass. before 1676.


Clement or Clemens

Abraham was married at Newbury, Mass. in 1683.
Austin, or Augustine, was a painter who came from Southhampton, England in 1635 and settled at Dorchester, Mass..
Godfrey was a freeman at Watertown, Mass. in 1634.
John was at Haverhill, Mass. in 1645.
Robert, brother of John, was born in 1590 and was made a freeman at Haverhill in 1643.
Salmon was married at Boston in 1660.
Thomas was at Providence, R.I. in 1645.



Thomas was a freeman at Newport, R.I. in 1645.



George was born at Arnold, Nottinghamshire, England before coming to Boston in 1644.He then removed to Hampton, N.H. after.
John, brother of preceding, was a resident of Hampton, N.H. in 1658.


Clift or Cliff

Thomas was a Quaker and freeman of Mass. as early as 1641. He is then seen at Rehoboth, Mass. by 1643 and then at R.I. later in life.


Clisby or Clesby

Ezekial was a freeman at Boston in 1690.
John was at Charlestown, Mass. pre-1669.

Ebenezer was at Boston in 1690.


John was a tailor who was born in 1613 in England and came to Watertown, Mass. in 1635. He then is seen at Salisbury, Mass. in 1639.
John was of Charlestown, Mass. in 1652.
John is a freeman at Hartford, Conn. in 1654.
Richard was at Plymouth in 1634.
William was of Charlestown before 1659 and was killed in King Philips War on August 24, 1675.


Cloutman or Cloudman

John came from Hingham, Aberdeenshire, Scotland to Plymouth in 1690 before removing to Marblehead, Mass..
Thomas, brother of preceding, came at the same time and was living at the same place as his brother.
